Bring your British hotel home with you
The best luxury products to give your house a five-star feel
Every time I stay in a luxury hotel, I wish I could bring it back with me - the dreamy feather pillows, crisp white sheets and deluxe toiletries. Well now you can get one step closer to giving your home a five-star-hotel feel, with these products from my favourite British destinations. Best of all, you don’t even have to visit to buy them, as they’re all available to order. The only thing missing, is room service. I wish…
From the Pig Hotels
Bramley X The Pig Candle, £28
Anyone who has ever spent a weekend at a Pig Hotel raves about the rooms and the food. They’re the perfect British country getaway. They also sell many gifts online, so you can get some of the experience at home, from toiletries to wine deliveries. I like this Bramley X candle, inspired by the kitchen gardens at the hotels, with scents of coriander, spearmint, chamomile and linden essential oils. Buy it here.

Now we can, with her furniture range, which includes everything from chairs and tables to headboards, bed linen, crockery and much more. Order here. I don’t have a chair… yet, but I do have some of this lovely pillow and room spray, which I use all the time. Order here.

The Sea Containers Hotel is a really well-located hotel on London’s Bankside and its holistic agua spa is well-worth a visit. The spa recently launched a seasonal range of products called Hedgerow by agua, using indigenous British flora inspired by hedgerows, such as lemon balm, rosemary, peppermint, St John’s Wort and comfrey and enhanced with lime blossom, fennel and thyme oils. The range starts from £15 and you can order it here.

From Gleneagles
Scottish strawberry jam, £7
If you can’t make it all the way to Scotland, then let the taste of legendary Gleneagles come to you, with a pot of its home-made jam. Gleneagles has a range of products for sale, from biscuits to bags, but I fancy a pot of its sweet stuff. Its jams are cooked in traditional copper pans, using the finest berries from Speyside. Yum. Order here.
