It’s the film everyone is talking about – not just for its ‘special’ moments, but for the beautiful house. Saltburn, Emerald Fennell’s hit movie starring Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi, Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant, is set in the stunning estate Saltburn – aka Drayton House in Northamptonshire. For those who haven’t seen it, it follows the story of Oliver, who becomes enchanted with both Saltburn and its residents. While you can’t visit the private home, there are plenty of glorious estates and castles around the UK you can rent exclusively. Just don’t invite Oliver. It looks like a Queen Anne estate, but it’s actually a modern house, which means you get the grandeur without the creaky pipes and draughts. The Enchanted Castle, Scotland
If it’s a movie-perfect Scottish castle you’re after, then it doesn’t get better than The Enchanted Castle in Dumfries.
